Briana Linea Designer Autobiography

With the experience learned from Phoenix Fashion Week, Briana has taken her driven talent to Milan, Italy to continue to sell her garments. She will also work for an Italian Designer, become fluent in the language and enjoy the classic culture that most Americans dream of!

It was the Christmas of 2006 when Briana Linea received her first sewing machine. She took it upon herself to stay up until 4am to complete the first of many eloquent garments.

She went on to design her personal prom dress, to tailor clothing while selling Tommy Bahamas and Italian men’s wear, and intern for Ballet Arizona’s costume shop. She also worked part time making couture bridal gowns, veils, and jewelry at Lillian Lottie Couture, designing Italian men’s leather goods for Remi Tulliani, all the while, designing and selling garments to personal customers. At the young age of 21, Briana Linea graduated with an Associates Degree in Fashion Design.

During her last year of college and only 3 years after stepping into the sewing and fashion industry, Briana competed against 9 other top designers of Arizona. By designing and sewing a collection, creating a business plan, website, excellent construction, and top voted by the audience, Briana Linea won the competition titled, Winning Emerging Designer of Phoenix Fashion Week 2009.

It is a delight to know I create what can accentuate the joy in one’s personality.
